Our cottage provides a great base from which to explore the stunning Ullswater valley. The cottage is only 15 minutes from the market town of Penrith and the villages of Pooley Bridge & Glenridding are nearby. You benefit from all of the facilities and attractions you could want from a self catering holiday with the peace and quiet that can be difficult to find elsewhere in the lakes. For a family, a group of friends or even a group of colleagues the cottage is ideal for seeing the best the Lake District has to offer.

The town of Penrith provides all the main high street shops and banks for peace of mind for those looking for a break without the feeling isolated! The nearer villages of Pooley Bridge & Glenridding provide numerous restaurants, pubs and bars should you wish to go to a proper Lake District pub for real ales or local dishes of Cumberland sausage & sticky toffee pudding.
