If you are staying at our self catering cottage and interested in hiring outdoor equipment such as open canoes, single/tandem sea kayaks or mountain bikes then Distant Horizons can assist. Being located only 300m away we can provide you with exactly what you need and save you bringing you own items, allowing you to travel quick and light.

We can also offer advice on the best places to go and provide printed maps with routes - all complimentary! We are here to help you make your visit to the Lake District the best trip ever. Distant Horizons without question have the best range and standard of outdoor equipment in the Lake District and we are happy to offer our clients staying at our cottage a discount on any items hired.
